^14 (A)I am the good shepherd, and ^(B)I know My own, and My own know Me, ¹⁵ just as ^(C)the Father knows Me and I know the Father; and ^(D)I lay down My life for the sheep. ¹⁶ And I have ^(E)other sheep that are not of this fold; I must bring them also, and they will listen to My voice; and they will become ^(F)one flock, with ^(G)one shepherd.

²⁷ My sheep ^(A)listen to My voice, and ^(B)I know them, and they follow Me; ²⁸ and I give them ^(C)eternal life, and they will never perish; and ^(D)no one will snatch them out of My hand. ^29 [a]My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. ^30 (E)I and the Father are ^[b]one.”

¹⁶ “For God so ^(A)loved the world, that He ^(B)gave His ^(C)only Son, so that everyone who ^(D)believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.

¹⁹ So the Pharisees said ^[a]to one another, “You see that you are not accomplishing anything; look, the world has gone after Him!”
